Women's Groups

A Place to Belong, Connect and Thrive
Our Women's Groups offer a welcoming space for women to connect, build friendships, and focus on their wellbeing. Led by Melissa and Jennifer, the groups provide opportunities to learn self-care practices, explore wellbeing activities, and become part of a supportive community.
Originally established at our Newmarket Street hub in Ayr, the groups have now expanded to Girvan Library, helping us reach more women in rural communities across South Ayrshire.
Our Womens Groups are built on a simple belief: nobody should have to face life's challenges alone. By bringing women together, we help create stronger connections, healthier communities, and opportunities for personal growth and wellbeing.

Helping Women Build Stronger Communities
At Caramara, our vision is not only to run Women's Groups, but to empower women to create and lead their own local communities. We are developing a sustainable, community-led model where we can help establish new groups in towns and villages across Ayrshire, providing guidance, training and ongoing support as local women take ownership of the group. Our aim is to help communities build lasting connections, reduce isolation, and create welcoming spaces where women can support one another long into the future.
Interested in starting a Women's Group in your area? We'd love to hear from you. Get in touch with our team to discuss how we can support you to build a local group in your community.
